“ A quaint Kerala restaurant tucked away in the suburb. The Kerala parotta was layered and flaky which is quite authentic and hard to find easily in Singapore. Other coconut infused dishes like the prawn fry and varutharacha chicken curry tasted just fine. And not to forget, service with a smile! ”

We went in with cravings, and walked out with satisfied smiles, especially my wife, who has been on a long search for the perfect fish head curry to suit her palate. That search ended here. We ordered their signature Fish Head Curry and Mutton Roast, paired with Garlic and Butter Naan, all specially prepared by none other than Chef Rajashekaran himself. The dishes didn’t just meet expectations, each of it exceeded them. The fish head curry was rich, tangy, and perfectly spiced not too overpowering but bold enough to bring out all the deep flavours of the sea. The mutton roast was tender, flavourful and paired beautifully with the fluffy, buttery naan. Every bite was a delight, every dip into the curry a moment of Curry Magic! Chef Rajashekaran clearly knows his craft, and it shows in every detail from the balance of spices to the presentation on the plate. His cooking truly brought magic to the table and satisfaction to our tummy. If you’re looking for authentic flavours with that homemade touch, Curry Magic is a must-visit. As for us? “ Magic by Name, Magic by Nature! It was my first time at Magic Curry House and we had gathered for a birthday celebration. The culinary experience really transports you straight to the kitchens of Kerala. We ordered the Aleppey Fish Curry, Prawn Thiyal, Beef Roast, Kerala Paratha and Appam. Thumbs up from everyone for all the Kerala cuisine. We also ordered the comfort food options like Butter Chicken, Chicken 65 and Chappatis, which were pretty good as well. Prawn Thiyal and Aleppey Fish Curry were the winners. Especially with the Kerala Parathas. The service was brilliant —attentive without being intrusive, and they were happy to make recommendations. They were also very accommodative for the cake cutting and serving later. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with subtle, pleasant background music that allows for easy conversation. Magic Curry House has earned a loyal customer. This is, without a doubt, one of the best Kerala food joints, location is unique and tucked away from the usual bustle and hustle of Indian eateries. Will be back and so should you! ”

“ Our family’s favourite place for authentic and high quality Indian food!! We’ve been here twice and the food is always satisfying and delicious. Family remarked that it’s clearly made to order with great ingredients. The mango lassi is a consistent hit: it has a delicious mango taste (not artificial at all) with a full yoghurt base. Upon recommendation, we tried the mutton biryani and loved it (the rice was so fragrant — and it even had raisins!). Garlic naan is SUPERB. So perfectly crispy yet the dough is chewy. Good garlic flavour. Other than those dishes, we loved the chicken tandoori (soo juicy, well marinated and charred well). Butter chicken sauce was full of depth from rich spices— not one-dimensionally sweet. I liked the brinjal dish too. One last thing — appreciated the complimentary papadoms and mint sauce!! Such a nice touch. Truly an underrated spot, cozy atmosphere and tucked in a quiet corner of lorong chuan. Really quite worth for the price! Felt like a higher end restaurant but the prices are acceptable! We will be back :) (Didnt manage to get good pictures because everything was devoured super quickly) ”
